These figures recently popped up on reddit in December and then one eventually made it up on eBay as well.  See here.   I was pretty interested in this figure until I ended up seeing where the price was going.  🙁  A little too high for my budget.    From what I heard, only two of these exist in trans-clear and I am not sure if any exist in green, or if so, how many exist.  I would expect that at least a few of these were made.

It is a pretty neat figure and we can see in the pictures below that the figure also has a back fin as well which we could not see in the prior pictures.

Brandon just sent me pictures of a really neat Star Wars item that he just picked up.  This is a Prototype Comic Con Tin that was presented to LucasFilm years ago.  Rumor has it that this was denied as a Comic Con promotional item because it did not involve any building.  That is too bad because this items looks great!   Here are some pictures…

This is the first that I have heard or seen of this.  Not sure if this will be a new thing in 2019, or if this is a one off.  If this is a new thing for 2019, Lego is again differentiating themselves from the knockoff brands by introducing dual moulded headgear into the stormtrooper helmets!  At least i believe that this is a new thing.

Saw this over here on Instagram here.  I do not collect a lot of prototypes, but I do fancy this one.  🙂

This seller posted three very interesting figures that appear to be legit from everything that I can tell.  I know the person that purchased this one and he is doing some additional research, but for now, it looks like a good find!  You can see it here

From the listing and from what I heard, he did a factory tour in 1998 and this was provided to him.

I missed this on eBay.  If you picked this up, please contact me and let me know what you think of it.  This is a very interesting find.  It appears to have a few pre-production parts and would make a great addition to any collection.  I saw this here on eBay.
