Lego announced with press releases everywhere the new Lego Dimensions line of video games that will be available later this year.   I recently found most of these sets available below on Amazon for pre-order.

It looks like the main starter pack will be available on September 27th 2015 for $99.99

It also looks like Amazon has all of the Fun Packs available as well for pre-order.  Some of these are really neat and they look like some contain exclusive minifigures as well.  Is that a new Unikitty?  You can see all of the fun, team and level packs below.

If you look close, you can see that the figures are on bases with markings.  I think that it is safe to assume that they will come off of the bases.  Additionally, it appears that they are counting the pieces for the minifigures as well.  That is great news for us collectors.
