Holy cripes batman! I was going to buy it, but then I noticed that the stickers were peeling on the Rebel Blockade Runner (10019). If you know the set, you will get the joke. The stickers always peel and crack.
JK, I definitely do not have 37K laying around that would not be put towards a new car or something else. 🙂
And then, I noticed that he is missing cloud city. Any self respecting Star Wars UCS Collector would consider Cloud City a UCS set. Especially if you put General Grevious in the collection.
I guess you could part the collection out and sell the minifigures for like $500 and keep the sets. Ha! That was a funny. Actually since he does not have the 10123 Cloud City, only a few of these minifigures will make the list of the top 100 most expensive Lego Minifigures of all time. If you have not seen this list, you will enjoy it. I did a quick look up on Amazon to see what alot of these are going for new. You can see that here. Wow. $2300 for 10129 the UCS Snowspeeder.
This is listed here on eBay.
Take a look, it gives you a nice perspective on all of the UCS star wars sets. I am not sure I have ever seen all of them together at once.
I started making this collection and one day my wife put the kabash on that. She said no more in the house. It really takes up alot of room and they get really dusty.
Can you imagine trying to take all of these apart and shipping them? Or worse yet, an earthquake knocking them off of the shelf?
Did I mention I love eBay!
EDIT: Wait, he is the same guy that has the $70K set of Large Store Display Minifigures.
Please like my page on Facebook! I am almost to 2000!!!! Thanks for looking.
