This is only the second ever one of these that I have been able to locate.  A reader Facebook Amir H. sent this in to me this week.  He stated that he won this in a heated eBay auction last year and that it currently resides in his collection.  Now that I have found two of these, I will be adding it to the Top 100 Minifigure list of most expensive minifigures.  I will most likely value this at about the same amount as the Red Prototype Darth Vader helmet.

If you have any rare prototype helmets that you have not seen before, please let me know.  I spoke to this reader and all of the other people that have found these, and they all appear to originate to Lego shows ro swap meets back in early 2000.  All of the stories are very consistent.
