Lego Bunny Suit and Chicken Suit Guy coming to a store near you soon for Easter - CopyOver the past few weeks, everything is stacking up to indicate that Lego is going to re-release the Bunny Suit and the Chicken Suit guy over Easter.  I am 100% certain that this is true for the Chicken Suit Guy and now I am also pretty certain for the Bunny Suit Guy as well.  I cannot determine if the figures are the same or if they are a little different, so we will need to wait and see for this information.

I picked up this information in a few places, but my first notification was this on Promobricks here.  It appears that the UK and German Lego Calendars reference an Easter Building Event.  You can see a copy of this Calender / Flyer here.

We will need to wait to see further details on this until later.

Then we saw that Toys R Us has listed the Chicken Suit Guy in some sort of Special Package.  Probably a Polybag of some sort.  You can see this here.

Then today over on Promobricks Facebook page, we see this.

This appears to be a special promotion in another country.  I cannot figure out which store it is.  I am watching the comments over on Reddit here.

Then, over on Brickfinder, we see a few more pictures of this promotion posted here.

I have seen these pictures all over Asian Facebook pages overnight, so I believe that this will be an Asian Market promotion of some sort.

This case and package were exclusive to the 2013 SDCC and it created quite a stir.  I still do not know how many of these exist, but i am guessing somewhere between 40 and 100 of these total were produced.  I just saw this one over on eBay and it ends in about 3 hours.

This one is making round on the internet today.  Another DK Exclusive Minifigure.  You can see it here.  This one is Unkar Plutt’s Brut thug that made a brief appearance in the movie.   I am a minifigure collector and this is a pretty good looking Star Wars minifigure, so I will pick it up!  This is coming out on June 7th 2016 and can be seen here on Amazon.

It looks like the Cosmic Clash Movie that will be released on March 1st with the Exclusive Cosmic Boy has a sneak peak at what the rumored Buccaneer Batman Exclusive Minifigure probably looks like.  I know you are thinking NABM

“Not Another Batman Minifigure” 🙂  But honestly, this one looks ok.  Lets hope it ends up looking like this.

As was posted earlier here, the Exclusive Buccaneer Batman Minifigure is rumored be be the exclusive minifigure in the upcoming DC Comics Super Heros Encyclopedia which is due to be released on April 5th now.  You can see this book on Amazon here.  Lego DC Comics Super Heroes Character Encyclopedia Book with Exclusive Minifigure Buccaneer Batman  Amazon does not have a picture yet, but I was able to find a picture here.  I am actually not really sure what that site is, but this link was posted by Brick Heroes a few months back.

Over on Eurobricks, a user posted this screenshot from the Cosmic Clash movie.  Some people must already have a copy of this movie.  It appears that Buccaneer Batman makes an appearance in this movie.  As much as I have enough Batman figures, at least this one is a little different that the other 35 of them!

Brick Heroes here  – Brick Heroes appear to have seen the movie and has an additional picture that was posted as well that shows some side printing.

As stated earlier, this figure appears to be based off of this figure from Kenner in 1995.    I found this over on Amazon as well.

This was an interesting few days for Exclusive Minifigures.  🙂  First an Exclusive Scooby Doo Minifigure in a new Polybag and now this.

This was just posted over on Kidsworld.com here.  It appears that we are getting a movie out this summer with an exclusive Scooby Minifigure.  Brickset.com is stating that the figure will be in this polybag and I assume that the Polybag will be inside this movie box. “That polybag is called 30601 Scooby-Doo”

The eBay auction for these states 18 inch tall figures, but I am betting that these are the standard 18 inch tall figures.  One thing that I see as interesting is that the face printing and the torso printing appear to be stickers and not printing.   I was not aware of this earlier.  Click on either picture below to see the auction and the details of the figures.  here and here

Lego Chrome Gold c-3po Star Wars 30th Anniversary Minifigure Two Variant Versions

A reader posted on my Facebook page today that two different Prints of the Lego Star Wars Chrome Gold C-3PO minifigure exist.  I had never noticed this before, but as soon as he sent me a picture and an explanation, I was able to verify that multiple versions do appear to exist.  The reader Bryan Kan is a very well known Lego Star Wars collector in Australia and he was able to provide a picture of both figures side by side so that it was clear and apparant what the differences are.

Lego Chrome Gold c-3po Star Wars 30th Anniversary Edition Dark Print European variety and Light Print US variety

Bryan Kan stated the following.

“To my knowledge the one on the left is the European/Australian version while the one on the right was from US/Canada. The white polybags are identical.”

From my research tonight on google and in my past saved pictures, it does appears that the European version is the darker one.  It is also apparent from every picture that I can find of the 1/100 limited carded prize that was awarded in Australia is also of the darker variety.

Here is an eBay auction with the Darker Variety.  This sold a while ago, but it will give you an idea.

Lego Chrome Gold c-3po Star Wars 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Australia Carded Edition 2

I dug in my collection and found mine and I definitely have the one on the right.  Without the darker lines.  Just for the record, it is practically impossible with my Camera to take a picture of these Chrome figures.

I will be adding this variant to the Top 100 list tonight.  I believe that the value is the same, it just appears that some were printed different that others.  This is very similar to the smooth hair Leia variant.
