I just added 36 unique and mostly possible Monochrome Minifigures to the minifigure database under the other section. You may see a few of these showing up on the top 100 minifigure list since a few of these are really difficult to obtain and will cost you a pretty penny if you can even find them. A good example of this is Sand Green. I was looking for one last night and I could not find one. 🙂 I imagine that the only way to get this color is to wipe the ink off of a sand green torso!
If you know of any others, please message me or add them as a comment to the bottom of the post!
Please keep in mind that while these are official Lego parts, they are not official Lego minifigures as they did not always come in this exact configuration. However, I have decided to add them since so many people collect these.
List of 36 monochrome minifigures. This is a full list wiht approximately what they will cost if you can find them and you choose to buy them instead of parting them together on your own. The ones that are listed at $0.00 are at zero because I am not sure what they will cost you! I have not been able to find any!
here is the bigger image if you are interested.
I originally became aware of large collections of these on eBay when I posted this article a few weeks ago. See here.
A seller on eBay (see here) helped with with the images and getting the list that he was aware of. He also has a website called http://www.monofigs.com with some of these available.
I will continue to research what other combinations are possible, but currently, these are the 36 that I am aware of.
I will also try to add the possible partial combinations as I become aware of them as well. For example, if the Hand and the head and the torso are available, but the legs are not.
If you know of any that I missed, please let me know. Also, if you know of any errors in my list, please let me know as well!
Please keep in mind that some of these colors were only produced with printing on them officially, but some crafty people have been able to get copies of some of the parts before they are printed on. I have seen these parts on bricklink once in a while! Other people have used various methods to remove the ink from the minifigures. I have not tried this yet, but you can probably find quite a few ways to do this on the internet.
Thanks for looking and I hope that you enjoy the new section. I will try to keep it updated as new ones are discovered!
