Official Lego Internal Business Unit Minifigures – 4 different ones to collect – Very Rare

I finally received a set of pictures of all four of these minifigures from 2011.  I have been told that these are official LEGO minifigures that were created for some of the business units in LEGO headquarters.  These were only handed out to employees of Lego as far as I know.  I have been looking for a full set of these for several years, but as of now, I am still missing two of these.  The only place that I have been able to locate these are from collectors in Denmark.

I am not certain how many of these exist.  I am guessing that it is relatively low as I have only seen three complete sets of these ever.    These fall into the very rare category!

The four figures are as follows.

Just found this on eBay here –

This is an interesting Certified Professional Set designed by Matija Puzar from 2017.  I have never seen this one before either.  It contains 1512 Parts and it was designed by Matija Puzar.  It is a limited edition of the dredge boat “BALDER R” from RN – Rodhe Nielsen dredging company.  It appears that these boat companies like to make models of their ships!

Box size is 4″ x 12″ x 15″

Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle – 71043 First Official Images – 4 Minifigures and 30 Microfigures.  It also include Abilisk and a new Hungarian Horn tail dragon as well.   It is a microbuild and it contains 6020 parts and pieces.  I would expect the price to be $299 or $399, but I am not certain.  I will see if I can find the price anywhere.

We saw a teaser for this yesterday, but HothBricks just posted a full set of images a few minutes ago.  I was a little hesitant on a microbuild, but I love it.  I will probably pick this one up.

This new set just showed up on the LEGO site here – Looks to include two new figures for the Batman line!

This is an interesting find and it appears to be a group of 4 Certified Professional mini builds designed by Nicolas Foo.  You get all four of the sets and combine then together to make a nice Christmas Holiday display.  Here is what we appear to know about the sets from the eBay auction that was posted earlier today.

  • The run was limited to 250 sets worldwide
  • The series contains 4 different sets
    • Snowman
    • Santa Claus
    • Reindeer
    • Sleigh
  • They were designed by Nicholas Foo and commissioned by Lego Singapore?
  • Each set appears to come in a numbered polybag.

These are a really nice small series and it looks pretty fun.  This is the only one of these that I have seen.

Located and found – Rare Lego 18K White Gold Exclusive Black Friday R2-D2 Minifigure – what is it worth

Do you all remember the contest for all of the Millenium Falcon Black VIP Card holders to win an exclusive 1 of a kink White Gold R2-D2 minifigure?  You can read about this here if you do not.

Basically, lego Lego entered everyone that has a Black VIP card into a contest to win the Exclusive 1 of a kind 18K Gold R2-D2 minifigure.  This will clearly be at or near the top of the list of Top 100 minifigures as you can all guess.  I created a survey to allow all of you to submit what you think it is worth.  Please see the survey link at the bottom of the post.  It is just two questions, so it will only take you a few seconds and it will help to determine what it is worth on the website.

This minifigure was created last year by Lego along with several others that are made out of platinum and silver.  This is 1 of 1 or the only one that was made out of White Gold.  So this is very similar to the Bronze C-3PO minifigure here that I wrote about last year.

The winner of this figure is a Bryan with www.broke4bricks.com.  You can contact Bryan at broke4bricks@gmail.com if you have any specific questions about the minifigure.    Bryan is a lifelong AFOL and feel free to contact him if you have any questions.

Lego was kind enough to pre-wrap the minifigure in an Acrylic case and give it a 1 of 1 Certificate of Authenticity!  I wonder if you get this graded if they will wrap it in another acrylic case.  I think I would so that it did not get scratched at all!  It does not look like the figure comes out of the case, so that would be tough for me.  I like to hold my minifigures.

You can see from the picture above that the detail on this figure is amazing and I am sure that all of you would love to add this to your collection!  But to quote a little Highlander, There can be only one!

Brian shared a copy of the letter that he received from Lego when they sent him the minifigure as well!  See below.

Finally, as you can tell, the figure also came with a Jason Whiting minifigure as well.  I could not imagine holding this and shipping it in a box and not wanting to keep it.   I think that this letter is a nice touch and shows that Lego knows its AFOL community!  I just wish that I had won the figure.  🙂
