It looks like Lego is shipping these these promotional figures faster than expected and some people already have them in hand.  This polybag image was posted here on the Lego Star Wars Collectors Facebook page earlier today.

I think that we are going to see a great deal of these posted over on eBay hereAbout 20 of them were active when I posted this.  I think that the price is currently reasonable and I personally would not wait too long to pick one of these up.  I personally have bought two for my collection and I feel that the price is reasonable.  I have heard estimates of between 1000 and 5000 black VIP cards worldwide.  If that is the case, this minifigure will be at least as rare as Mr Gold and quite collectible in my opinion.  Anyone that collects Star Wars is going to want one of these!  If anyone knows how many that they created, please post a comment and let me know.

You will also notice that this minifigure is in a simple polybag which to me means a lower production amount than many normal polybags!  Some people are complaining that this is not in a nicely finished box, but I for one am happy as it means I can open it without feeling bad!

Here are all of the ones I can find on ebay –> SEE ALL 5005747 sets listed on Ebay here

Lego Google Science Fair 2012 Exclusive Rare Minifigure

Here is a figure that I have been looking for over the past year and I finally found one of the years.  From What I can tell, each year from 2011 to 2016 had an exclusive Google Science Fair Minifigure.  Lego was a sponsor of this event for each of these years and I have found pictures of figures online for each of these years.   I would assume that 2017 and 2018 exist as well, but I have not been able to find them.

So far, this is the only one that I have found in person.  I will link to a few of the others in the post in a few days.  I wanted to at least get this one up today.

Thanks for looking

It looks like we finally know what the last exclusive Black VIP card holder minifigure is going to look like.  Here is the first and best Hi Res photo of the figure that I can find.    From what I hear, you will get an email if you are a black card VIP holder and that will allow you to get the minifigure free with a star wars purchase on the shop@home website.  I hear that it is only online and that it will not be in stores.

This seller posted three very interesting figures that appear to be legit from everything that I can tell.  I know the person that purchased this one and he is doing some additional research, but for now, it looks like a good find!  You can see it here

From the listing and from what I heard, he did a factory tour in 1998 and this was provided to him.
