A few weeks ago, I posted a small contest to build the Giant Man Minifigure from the New Marvel Super Heroes 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle set from the new Civil War Sets coming out this summer.   I said that whomever submitted the best entry by February 10th would get a free Target Exclusive Lightning Lad Gift set sent to them as a token of my appreciation.  See here.  The winner is decided based on my pick!

I have had a few entries, but Barry Donovan from the UK submitted this rocking entry that I thought deserved an early mention.  Since it was so good, I am going to send Barry a set and keep the contest open to see if anyone can top it.  Possibly building a real one and adding decals?  See what you can come up with.  I am also going to include the building instructions from Barry’s entry to help get you started.  As I said, the contest is still open if anyone can top Barry’s entry.  But Barry will get a set either way!

Barry said that he ran into a few challenges with the back of the head and the hands, but you can decide for your self.  I think it looks great!
