A reader Sebastien P. just sent me a photo of this his collection of Jason Freeny limited edition minifigures.  He told me that the set of three limited edition minigures that are signed are limited to 50 total figures.  Jason Freeny Minifig Trio Signed Sculpt Print (3)

I could not find anything about these on the site, but I did find this link to a picture that Jason Freeny is selling of these figures.

I remember seeing this a few years ago and i just found it again here on eBay and realized that I can build my own.  This is a small enough set that I think I may need to try building this.  I am going to see how many of the pieces that I have once I get a copy of the instructions.

This model was created by an artist name Edul Young and he is currently selling the instructions over on eBay here.

Here is the description

“An automaton is a kinetic sculpture. This Pegasus Automaton is moved by a series of mechanical gears and cranks. The Pegasus of white, hovering and flapping her wings, is recreated in balanced and correct body proportions to give vivid feelings. The gearbox has an antique beauty in clockwork style.”

He states that it comes with a few rare pieces that he lists on the auction.

It looks like Bandai is getting on the bandwagon and it going to make a run at some of the minifigure market in 2016.  These are going to be produced outside of the US from what I am reading and only sold in Japan?  So you will need to hunt these down on eBay if you are interested.

Toy Ark is reporting that these will be available in March of 2016.

I just saw this figure posted to Jan Beyers FaceBook page.  It appears to be a gift for the 10 year anniversary of Brikkelauget.  I was able to find two pictures of this figure.  I am pretty sure it is an unsanctioned custom, but very nice all the same.  This one is from Tormod Askildsen’s Facebook page here.

EDIT:  These are customs.  Not real

I just saw these.  Unfortunately, I heard that Mega Bloks has this license, so we will not be seeing these.  I saw these over on BrickFinder and YiToys.   I cannot figure out if these are fo sale, or just one offs that he creates.  Let me know if you figure anything out.

As the title suggest, I recently became a subscriber of Blocks Magazine and this give you the right to order Three Exclusive Lego Minifigures.  They are technically customs, but I kind of start collection anything that is make for a real company.  That is my rule of thumb.    I also collect some really neat customs as well, if I do not think I will ever see a Lego version at any time in the future.

So anyhow, if you are a subscriber, this gives you the right to order the three Exclusive Bloks minifigures.  No 1, The Govenor.  No 2, The Snapper and No 3, Shelly the Subs Girl.    After you become a subscriber, you can email sales@blocksmag.com to place an order for a nominal fee.  Pretty neat deal in my opinion.

Here is a picture of mine that just arrived today in the mail!!!!!!  WoHoo!!!!  I love getting minifigures in the mail.  My wife is not as fond of the event as I am.  🙁
