Late last year, Lego approved the Minii-Big Bang Theory set that was submitted to the Lego Ideas site. Most of you have probably already seen this set, but just in case I added a picture of it at the bottom of this post. You can also see more about the preliminary design here.
Yesterday Lego revealed 5 of the 7 minifigures that will be part of this set on their FaceBook page. You can jump to this here.
Today they revealed the Box art and the other two minifigures. Amy and Bernadette.

The figures look incredible. I thought that the original figures in the Ideas set looked pretty good, but these look even better.
Included on the Lego FaceBook page are the following 5 minifigures. Based on the FaceBook post, we will see the other two figures on their page tomorrow. Entertainment Weekly is also claiming that the set will be posted on the Lego FaceBook page tomorrow as well. I will say one thing for Lego, they have a way of announcing a few things every other week to keep us on our toes.
The other two figures are supposed to be Amy and Bernadette, so we should have a full cast!!!

Based on the review period, we should see this set in September a little later this summer. The price is slated to be $59.99 and this is a no brainer for pretty much everyone. I am really impressed at how well they are doing these ideas sets and how great that they look. This set will look sweet next to my Back to the Future and Ghostbusters sets on my shelf.
