The Lego 2016 January Catalog is up on the Shop at Home site here.  I notices a few nice pages in this catalog that make it a little special.

First of all, we get a 3-4 page Ghostbusters Pullout Poster which is really nice.   After that, we have a few nice pics and the US pricing of the Bank and the Star Wars Sets that are being released on January first.  However, the poster is the real treat!

Lego Disney Minifigures 71012 Hair Pieces from Alibaba

The first thing that we notice with these is that the heads will not be molded like with the Simpsons.  So that is a nice piece of news.  I see benefits either way, but I believe that a lot of people prefer classic minifigures.

Earlier today, we reported here the following.

On the Disney front in the 71012 Collectible Minifigure set from Disney this spring, we are hearing confirmation on this Eurobricks thread from AmazingBriicks that we will be getting a Genie.

Just2Good has also confirmed Syndrome and Mr Incredible for the DIsney Series this spring as well.  See here.

So we now should know for sure the following.

  • Captain Cook
  • Genie
  • Syndrome
  • Mr Incredible
  • Peter Pan (just confirmed)
  • Ursula
  • Unknown Hair.  See above.  (One of our readers has suggested that this may be Dash.  What do you think?  See comments below).

They know the other 10, so I am guessing that the other 10 will be slowly leaked over the next few days!

If you look at this picture posted by Galaad, you can see that the Disney Series 71012 will have 18 characters in it and not 16.  If you look at the pic two down, you can see that 71012 is in fact the Disney series.

As mentioned earlier here, according to some reputable posters on EuroBricks, we will be getting a set with Ghost Rider in it this summer.

Also, on the Rumor front, it looks like we have possible confirmation of a Ghost rider minifigure in an upcoming Marvel set this summer over on EuroBricks here.

“Ghost Rider is confirmed. Don’t debate it please, I can tell you with complete confidence that a Spidey set with Ghost Rider is in the summer wave. ”

This is from a moderator over on Eurobricks, and I cannot validate it, but everyone appears to think it is true.  Additionally, if you continue to read through the thread, they believe that Mysterio will be the villian in the set with Ghost Rider.

This will most likely be a small set as will be the upcoing Dr Strange set this summer as I am pretty sure that the audience will be somewhat smaller for these characters.  Similiar to the AntMan set in my opinion.  For those of you that missed it, we heard about the Dr. Strange rumor earlier in December here.

As for Ghost Rider, we have seen him in Lego Form earlier here when we looked at all of the comic covers done in Legos.

Just2Good has posted all of the HD images of the 2016 Minecraft sets over on his Youtube channel here.    I put the details for the other rumors below the YouTube link.

I just found this over on eBay and it looks like it is also making rounds on a few sites today.  This looks to be a new exclusive set to Legolands and Possibly just Legoland Florida.  I was able to find a 10 or 11 of these on eBay right now that are for sale, or sold recently.  You can see another person here that has 8 or more of these as well, so we should begin seeing more of these shortly.

From the seller that had the most information here is what we know as well as his pictures below.

“The Set was bought at Legoland Florida in Orlando (Winterhaven?)  They only saw this at one store in the whole park.  The set has an engineer and three tourists.  The set also has 210 pieces.”

Just2Good over on Youtube here just posted this video with a whole bunch of HD images of the upcoming DC Comics Super Heroes sets including 76053 Gotham City Cycle Chase as well as some of the Mighty Micros Sets as well.  He has stated that these are his Christmas Present to all of us.  In this picture and video, you can see high resolution images of Harley Quinn and Batman and Deadshot in all of their glory.

These are pretty nice and the box art looks spectacular as well!  We can also see box images for 76063 The Flash vs Captain Cold and 76062 Robin vs Bane and 76061 Batman vs Catwoman.  These boxes and sets look pretty good and I encourage you to watch his video.

 

In case this video goes somewhere, the images for these sets were posted in the Lego Catalog a few days ago.  They just were not the box art and they were not as High Definition.
