Lego Star Wars Prototype Print Proof Sheets For Box Art – Sets 4501 6207 10026 8009

This post and site contains Affiliate links. I may earn a small commission if you click on them. Click here for more details.

These early release prototype proof sheets for the box art for these older Lego Star Wars sets were recently posted to eBay here.  It appears that the poster was the Art Director on at least a few of these sets.  This is the first time that I have seen these art sheets for Lego Star Wars sets.

It looks like the seller has listed 4 different proof sheets listed.  You can see them here.

R2-D2 Proof Sheet –

6207 Proof Sheet –

10026 Proof Sheet –

4501 Proof Sheet –

LEGO Star Wars 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina ULTRA RARE PROTOTYPE PROOF SHEET BOX ART – Very rare prototype proof sheet for the LEGO Star Wars Original Trilogy Edition Mos Eisley Cantina set #4501 from 2004. This proof sheet is very large and features THREE 1:1 actual size packaging layouts. Colors are extremely crisp, bright and vibrant and the proof has a very glossy UV lacquer finish.
LEGO Star Wars 10026 UCS Naboo Starfighter ULTRA RARE PROTOTYPE PROOF SHEETS BOX ART – TWO proofs used in development of the packaging design for one of the most desirable LEGO Star Wars UCS sets, 10026 Naboo Starfighter. 1:1 actual size final proof sheet of the approved packaging design, and a smaller ULTRA RARE, “in-progress” Iris proof sheet of an early version of design with a completely different background! This version was not approved and was later changed to the background which appears on the final printed box.  This Iris proof also utilizes a preliminarily prototype model of the Naboo Starfighter and as such differs from the actual production version.
LEGO Star Wars 6207 A-wing ULTRA RARE PROTOTYPE PROOF SHEET – ULTRA RARE, early “in-progress” prototype proof sheet for the design of the LEGO Star Wars A-wing set #6207 from 2005. This is an “in-progress” proof of this layout which utilizes preliminarily prototype products and as such differs from the final printed packaging. As you can see it is labeled “Preliminary” and the Minifigures are prototypes and do not have any face decorations.
LEGO Star Wars 8009 R2-D2 ULTRA RARE PROTOTYPE PROOF SHEET – prototype proof sheet for the LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 set #8009 from 2002.

All of these are really great looking and would make great prints to hang in the office!
