Lego Certified Professional Cobas e 801 diagnostics machine

This may be one of the more rare Certified Professional sets that I have come across.  I have only seen this one set that was submitted by a reader Matt W.  This is also one of the larger sets that I have seen as well.  Here is a link to the description of why and how this set was created.  This set is from 2015 and it was created by Amazings.eu and is marked Lego Certified Professional as well.

“Roche Diagnostics International Ltd

For the worldwide pre-launch of one of our major novelties we were looking for something that would keep the marketing teams of our different affiliates focused and excited for more than a year before launch. For this purpose, we hired Dirk Denoyelle and Amazings: Dirk was the – amazing – host of the event, where he moderated a team building exercise with our marketing teams and unveiled the new cobas e 801 module (a diagnostic device) at the end of a great comedy show. At the very end of the event, participants received the bricks to build the first part of a LEGO small scale model of the new analyzer. The sets to complete the LEGO model were sent to the participants over the following months, and in order to have access to the building instructions, they had to consult our intranet on a regular basis. In this way, we managed to keep our affiliates up to date -in a fun way- about all project relevant information. The response was … amazing.”

Lego Certified Professional 2016 WWT Wetland Animals Set of 5

Edit:  Here is another set of these listed on eBay here – Design Bright Bricks by Duncan Titmarsh and limited to 500 sets of each.

I have yet to see these sets anywhere other than eBay, but it looks like the WWT Wetland Animals have released another set of Certified Professional sets for 2016.  These look nice and are a nice compliment to the last set that we posted about a year ago here.   It does appear that we have 5 sets this time instead of 6 and that the sets are a little more detailed.  Additionally, it appears that the sets all come in unique boxes this time as well.  This set of these is currently listed on eBay here.    This seller has quite a few other Certified Professional sets as well that I suggest checking out.  I also noticed that he has a second set of these listed here.

Chill Out Dude

I recently decided to grab a set of Lego Power Miner Minifigures and as I was unwrapping thepackage of  figures, it became very clear to me that the red power miner Rock Monster – Infernox minifigure looked quite a bit like “Red” from the Angry Bird’s Movie.

I thought that you might also enjoy the similarity.

Minifig Recipe – Make Buzz Lightyear a Girlfriend with these easy to get parts and figures

This post and site contains Affiliate links. I may earn a small commission if you click on them. Click here for more details.

Jessie will be dissapointed with this build, but Disney failed to give Buzz a Girlfriend when they released the latest set of Disney Collectible Minifigures.   The only friend that Buzz was given in the latest series was the three eye Alien from the movie.  I would have much preferred Jessie or Woody, but I imagine that they will come in a later series.

A few weeks ago, I noticed that someone on Reddit corrected this here using the head from the new Batgirl set.  I instantly knew that I needed to pick one of these up so I ordered the Lego 70906 91w24usxvpl-_sl1500_-1

Joker’s Lowrider from Amazon and I waited for it to arrive.  What I needed from the set was the head from Batgirl to add to my extra Disney Buzz Lightyear minifigure.  51zgbp7et5l

So basically, you need one Batgirl minifigure from Jokers Notorious Lowrider 70906  and one Buzz Lightyear minifigure from the 71012 Collectible series of minifigures.

Step 1 – get the minifigures

Step 2 – rip the heads off of Batgirl and your extra Buzz

Step 3 – Put Batgirl’s head on Buzz’s body

Step 4 – Let them get to know each other

Sky Broadband Tech Team in Minifigure Form for the Batman Movie

I have no idea if we will see these guys or not, but with the way that we are getting all of these Batman Movie variants, I would not be surprised.

EDIT:  Please see instruction below if you are not in the UK to view the video.  It is restricted to the UK.

A few weeks ago, this video was released in the UK.  However, I had not been able to watch it since it was prohibited in the US and I quite frankly just forgot about it.  However, a reader reminded me of it again today and i hunted down a proxy to view it in the US.  Thanks Matt W!

Here is the video url on youtube.  If you cannot watch it like me in the US, you can go to https://www.proxfree.com/ here  an put in this URL “https://youtu.be/bLPKhpM0W88” an choose an ip address in the UK.  If they ask you to fill out a form, just close the window and try again.

This is very annoying, but if you wantt o watch it, it is the only way I could figure it out.

Tiger Suit Batman Polybag – Possible Exclusive in Asian Markets?

EDIT:  A few readers let me know that this is a Toys R Us special in Hong Kong and limited to 200 copies.  This will probably be more widely distributed later, but this is the first issue.  Thanks to W Lee and Julio R for the info and the link.  See it here.

This just showed up on Eurobricks here and Delta Customs here.

It appears to be an Asian exclusive of some sort and it appears to be Batman in a Tiger Suit.  Possibly a movie opening polybag?  We will have to wait and see?

We saw the Tiger suit Batman earlier in this poster here.  If anyone knows where this poster is from, I would appreciate a PM.  I cannot find it anywhere.  See here and here

EDIT:  I found the source here or reddit.  It ultimately points here, but this site is terribly slow, so I will just suggest reddit.

Lego Falck Promotional Minifigure

This post and site contains Affiliate links. I may earn a small commission if you click on them. Click here for more details.

Earlier this month Thomas from Brickalick in Denmark sent me this promotional flyer and I was able to get some history on a figure that I have had in my collection for a little while.  At the top of this advertisment, you can see Falck selling Lego Minifigure Keychains!  For me, this was a really interesting set of history!  I have picked up some interesting items from this store and this flyer begins to tell me that he is a true collector.  He has this and others posted on his Flickr page here.

lego-falck-minifigure

My figure is a little different as it is not a keychain, but at least if gives us an idea where it came from!  Mine is not glued and comes apart quite nicely!  Here is a cut out of the Keychain part.  In this ad, the terrible stable is put into their heads!  Eek!
