It looks like the first set of pictures of the Series 2 Collectible minifigures have started hitting the internet.  Please see below.  This partially makes up for the disappointing Nintendo news from earlier this week.  However, I am still pretty sure we will see a full Nintendo Minifigure Series shortly.  Or at least quite a few sets.

Points to consider.  These are somewhat speculative for now.

• September 2020 release date
• 16 to collect in total.
• It looks like we have quite a few new molds. Kingsleys hat, Myrtles hair, Sprout hat, Dumbledore hat, Lion hat, Fawkes, Book of Monsters, Grip hook hair.
• They are supposed to be priced at Euro 3.99 and USD 4.99 from what I have heard.
• We will most likely get a Large Direct to Consumer set with these minifigures later this year.  From what I have read, it will be 75980 at Euro 100 – you can see a potential listing here

• Bellatrix has the wrong hair for when she was in Prison?  Is this a mistake, or will we get them like this?

This was just listed here on eBay.  See here.  This is a really rare item that I have only ever seen on eBay once before in the past.  The award is made entirely of Lego.  It also includes that original packaging as well which is in really nice condition.

The Emmet Awards was a contest that Lego held after the launch of the lego movie in 2014 where people could submit their own creations to Lego and Lego awarded about 30 of these to Lucky winners in the different Categories.    Here is a graphic from the original page advertising this contest.  You can also read more about this contest here as well.

It appears that the contest had a larger prize (A large brick built Emmet figure) and that these gold chrome Emmet Statues are the awards that were given out for being considered (Runner-Ups) in the contest.  But if you ask me, this was the better prize!  Here are the pictures from the auction below.
