What a bummer!

I just saw this posted.  I hope this is not for all of the videos!  I may have to stop buying these.  What am I going to do with 6 Exclusive Magnets!  I usually watch these movies when I pick them up for the exclusive figures but now I am not sure I will still pick them up?  Why Lego Why?

Thanks for looking.  I was able to find this over on Amazon here but it has not been updated to reflect the magnets.  All we can do is hope that this a European version and not the US version.

EDIT:  I posted this article in March originally, and I finally finished picking up all of these minifigures.  I thought I had them a few weeks ago, but when I went to organize them this weekend, I noticed that I was still missing one Audi Quattro driver, so I needed to go and pick him up.

Here is the video review that I did of these so you can see all of them up close.

I also took some photos of all of the figures as well.  A few additional ones exist that were not in my original post.

🙂 The HP racer is from an old set and is not a Speed Champions minifigure.

 

Today while I was at Toys R Us waiting for my son to finish Soccer Practicce, I visited Toys R Us in hopes of finding some more Shark Suit Guys.  However, no such luck, so I browsed some of the new sets and these two sets caught my eye because of the most excellent printing on the Ford Mustand Driver and The Chevy Corvette Driver.  I went ahead and picked up these two sets while I was at the store.

I thought that the printing on these figures looked pretty good at the store.  However, I had passed on these sets earlier because I had just assumed that these were stickers on the torsos like the old Ferrari figures for several years back were.  See 8654 as an example here.   Seeing that they were actually printed, I decided to give them a try.  (I cannot stand Lego Minifigures with stickers on the Torsos!)

When I opened up the packaged and took a look at them, I thought that they looked spectacular an I was instantly hooked.  I did a little research and found that this line of Speed Champions sets has more than 25 excellent high Quality Licensed minifigures that are now going to be part of my collection.  The best part, is that all of these figures and sets are still readily available for reasonable prices.  I found most of them on Amazon here.

Suddenly I want to join the Dutch 501st Legion!  A reader contacted me last week after I posted the German and Dutch 501st Garrison minifigures and let me know that a few additional varieties of these figures exist and that he could send me some pictures which I am about to show you.

The reader also cautioned that these figure are 100% not available for sale in any way and that they are for Dutch Garrison members only.  No exceptions to this rule can be made so we should not ask to buy them.  Please respect this as selling these figures can get the Garrison members in trouble.

They also sent me a picture of the standard Dutch Garrison Stormtrooper as well which I included so that you could see all three Dutch Garrison minifigures next to each other.

I finally got my hands on one of the Zack the lego maniac exclusive minifigures from the 2016 lego brand retail managers conference.  I posted about this guy here earlier this year when a few of these showed up on Facebook.  See here.
