It looks like CM4Sci over at Eurobricks here and reddit here has disclosed the first image of the Winter Holiday Train.  It looks like a pretty simple starter train that should be relatively affordable.   It looks like it includes at least 5 minifigures, 16 track pieces and an engine, 1 car and a caboose.

CM4Sci is disclosing a $99.00 retail price in the US.  He also confirmed the 5 minifigures guess above.    This looks to be a smaller partial replica of the last holiday train set – 10173 – which contained 965 pieces and was released in 2007.  It make sense that it is a little smaller since the price is $99.  The original set from 7 years ago listed at $89.99 and prices have to go up right?  You can see that set here on Amazon at a pretty high price.  I am sure that this is part of the reason that this set is being re-released.
