This is from 2012, but I thought it was worth a look. It is absolutely amazing. I have been working on my Harry Potter minifigure collection and I noticed this post in my research. I currently have about 75 of the approximately 133 figures in the Harry Potter line. I still have a lot to go.
You can see them all here.

Holy Cow. This was created by one individual at home. I wonder how long it took and how much it cost.
This may be the best home build that I have ever seen.
You can see more images over at Alice Finch Flickr Page
The interior is pretty detailed as well.
You can read more about this at the following locations.

Lego Super Heroes have been my favorite theme since it was started in 2011. I had given up hope a little when Batman and Spider-man were cancelled, only to be overjoyed when it was announced that Lego had acquired both the Marvel and the DC licenses.
If you click on the image, it will get bigger and allow you to zoom in on the figures.
You can see what all of these figures are currently selling for if you look here in the price guide.
You can also see the latest list of the top 100 most expensive figures of all time here
Since it is difficult to be caught up on all of these at once and it usually only happens once or twice a year, I thought I would get a quick picture before Lego releases another one of these. I am pretty sure that it will be any day now that we will start seeing some of the Summer Lego Super Hero sets.
I built this stand just so that I could set these up. I had thought that I would be able to get this ready in about an hour, but it ended up taking me several hours to locate all of them and build the stand. The stand also took an insane amount of pieces. I way underestimated the number of bricks that I needed to order off of Bricklink.
They YouTube video finally finished uploading, so I am attaching it here.
I also looked over the top 100 list and the Super Heroes line makes up over 20 of them.
http://www.minifigpriceguide.com/Top100LegoMinifigures.html
This picture and video do not contain the Original Batman I figures or the original Spider-Man line. I will post those another day. I would need to make the stand bigger to get them all in one shot anyways. 🙂

Lego recently opened up a contest to relaunch the Bionicle Theme. This is st least the third gold / platinum mask that Lego has made for the Bionicle line.
This image is found here. I think it was ultimately from here.

This is the woman from Lego that sent this to the winner in Alaska.

Here is the announcement from Lego ReBrick.
“To celebrate the coming relaunch of LEGO® Bionicle®, The LEGO Group is teaming up with the LEGO fansites BZPower, RusBionicle, Bionifigs, Pockyland, EuroBricks and our own LEGO ReBrick to conduct an epic building competition where a winner from each site will go head-to-head for the grand prize of a 14 karat gold Bionicle mask pictured below! ”
Each of the winners from these five sites went head to head to create the baddest villian that they could come up with.
Per Lego ReBrick… here
“We invite you to build the baddest villain you can imagine, using a minimum of 75% LEGO® Constraction/Technic bricks and no more than 25% LEGO System bricks. ”
The winner was recently announced here.

Here is the winning entry from their Flickr Account.
Here is a picture and a video of a prior Solid Gold Bionicle mask that was given away in the past.
This new one is a little more rare as the prior one had at least 5 made. It looks like people are willing to pay about 4,000 + for this prior mask. Who knows what this one will be worth. See below for an estimate of its value.
Here is another pic from reddit per this article. http://www.reddit.com/r/bioniclelego/comments/1m4ic7/solid_gold_kanohi_hau/
This kid said he won it at a Toys R U competition in NY. This article also states that 30 of these exist.
We can probably base the value on the recent sale of the Platinum Bionicle mask that recently sold for 15,000 to the same person that reviewed the gold one above. You can read about this here.

Also, here is an image of the platinum mask as well from the second article that just sold for $15,000.
This mask is made up of three troy ounces of Platinum!
Here is a showing of his collection.
It appears that the Platinum mask was given away in a contest in 2003 per the article above. “The Platinum Avohkii Mask of Light was the grand prize in the Cartoon Network’s Toonami Sweepstakes in October 2003. An 11-year-old Santa Rosa boy, Chase Koches, won the mask, along with a number of other prizes, including Bionicle toys and Lego sets, a DVD player, Nike Bionicle athletic shoes and a 36-inch flat-screen television.”
It looks like this was put up on eBay and eventually sold to Huley (the guy with the gold mask above), but not through eBay. I remember seeing this on eBay a few years back and thinking wow, that is a lot of coin.
And here are some of the pics from the eBay auction.
I bet that Hurley is pretty irritated about this as he now needs to talk someone else into selling of these to him for a crazy amount of money again. And this one is just like the last one. Only one exists.
Here is the Press Democrat article that look like it reported on this first.
As I read through this article, it looks like this guy is a serious collector of Bionicle masks. As a minifigure collector, it seems like it would be difficult to just collect the masks. It is almost like just collecting the heads off of the minifigures? What do you think. I would think that they would want the entire Bionicle set, not just the masks.
I wonder if we need a site listing all Bionicle Mask and the estimated value of these?

In May 2015, we are going to have a booming Simpson’s month. We are getting at least one Simpsons (The KWIK-E Mart) set (71016) as well as a full line of Collectible minifigures. The set number for these will be 71009 and should retail for $3.99 as with Series 1.
The list of figures are as follows and contains some great characters. With the amount of characters in the Simpsons Universe, they should be able to keep this series going for quite some time. You can see the full list of current figures here.
http://www.minifigpriceguide.com/SIMPSONS.0.html This is the 16 from Series 1 and the 5 from the Simpsons house.
Quite a few molds were leaked a few weeks back on www.pockyland.net and taobao
I took the liberty of adding some images from the Playmates World of Springfield Characters since they look so similar to fill in a few of the blanks and to give you a reference of what they may look like.
Maggie with Santa’s Little Helper – this is the leaked Lego Santa’s Little helper mold with the Series 1 Maggie. I am not sure how they are going to change Maggie.
Smithers – This is the World of Springfield Smithers Character along with the leaked Lego hair mold.
Patty – This is the leaked Patty mold along with the World of Springfield Patty as well.
Selma – This is the leaked Patty mold since they will most likely use the same mold if we get both. I also included the World of Springfield Selma for reference.
Comic Book Guy – This is the leaked Lego Comic Book Guy mold along with the World of Springfield Comic Book Guy for reference. I do not think that they will make the figure fat, but it is possible since they did it with one of the Hobbit figures.
Groundskeeper Willie – Here is the leaked Lego mold along with the World of Springfield Groundskeeper Willie. They look spot on. I imagine that he will come with a rake.
Dr. Hibbert – Here is the leaked Lego mold along with the World of Springfield Dr. Hibbert. I like the Lego mold better in this case. I hope he comes with a Stethoscope and a Hammer.
Proffesor Frink – Here is the leaked Lego mold along with the World of Springfield Professor Frink. The Lego Mold needs a little color on the hair, but it looks good.
Homer in his Sunday Best – We will probably get the same head mold with different paint and eyes and a nice Sunday Suit. I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Marge in her Sunday Best – I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Bartman – We do not have a leaked mold for this character yet, so I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Lisa with Snowball – We do not have a leaked mold for this character yet, so I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Fallout Boy – We do not have a leaked mold for this character yet, so I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Mrs. Krabappel – We do not have a leaked mold for this character yet, so I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Hans Moleman – We do not have a leaked mold for this character yet, so I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Martin Prince – We do not have a leaked mold for this character yet, so I included the World of Springfield figure for reference so you can see what they are basing this character on.
Possible KWIK-E Mart figure Snake – This is the last leaked mold along with the World of Springfield character for reference. He is a regular at the KWIK-E Mart, so this is no surprise.
