I recently received a few images from a reader about a rather rare and obscure Red Prototype Skeletal\u00a0Horse. \u00a0The first thing\u00a0I noticed when I received this information is that Skeletal is the Lego name for this piece and not Skeleton. \u00a0I am not sure I even knew that Skeletal is\u00a0an English word. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0However, it appears that this is the name used by Lego and Bricklink.<\/p>\n

I received these pictures from an Ebay seller <\/a>that has sold a few prototypes in the past. \u00a0Johnnybgood2<\/a>. \u00a0These are from his personal collection. \u00a0Ironically, I also noticed this past week that a reddit reader posted an image of one of these as well. \u00a0See it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lego released the Skeletal horse between the years of 2007 to 2012. \u00a0It is possible that this horse will be released again, but we do not currently know. \u00a0This horse has been released in three\u00a0official colors. \u00a0White, Black and Glow in the dark! \u00a0See here<\/a> for reference on Bricklink.<\/p>\n

A few interesting items to note about this prototype figure when compared to some of the other prototypes that I have posted about in the past. \u00a0This one is not just a color change, but it also has a few structural differences. \u00a0Meaning that it used a different Mold completely.<\/p>\n
